Are you the founder of a woman-owned business in Chicago’s west suburbs?
Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been in business for decades, we think you’ll love being part of West Suburban Women Entrepreneurs.
We are welcoming, curious, positive, energetic women working in many different fields. Our members are landscape designers and legal eagles, caterers and custom cake artists, accountants and acupuncturists and so much more.
In fact, if a woman can dream it, WSWE women are probably doing it. And with this many perspectives in the room, our monthly conversations are always enlightening and fun!
Our goal is to give every member full access to the wisdom of the entire group. The magic happens in our regular breakfast meetings and at special evening gatherings where we relax and celebrate our accomplishments.
If you believe in growing your business organically through genuine, active friendships, then West Suburban Women Entrepreneurs is the place for you.
We had more than a little fun at the WSWE Annual Dinner this June! Huge thanks to Membership Chair Tracy Jensen, far left, who put together a fabulous party for all of us. Past Prez Su Jang, center, is smiling for 2 reasons: after 5 years, she’s finally retiring from the board (!!!) AND, in her role as PRISM Scholarship Chair, she has just announced our wonderful new Scholar for 2018-19, Dana Gehlhausen. President Betsey O’Brien is just happy to enjoy a refreshing cocktail served by the staff of La Cabañita in Burr Ridge, who delighted us with fabulous food and drink all night long. (Oh, that homemade flan!) Congratulations to incoming President Freyja Conrad and newly elected board members Beth Fuchs (President-Elect), Becky Beyer Brofman (Secretary) and Aileen Gilpin (Treasurer). Warmest thanks to outgoing board members Su, Amy Goodman and Denise Pozen for their years of service to WSWE.
